Dale Morris
is an actor, director, playwright and
founder of San Diego Theatre Scene, Inc., the
parent organization of Compass Theatre (formerly
6th at Penn Theatre), a 49-seat facility that
has provided more work for actors, directors and
technical designers than any other small to
mid-sized theatre in Southern California. He
has served as the
theatre's managing artistic director since its inception
in 2001. SDTS gained
501(c)(3) nonprofit status in 2003.
After seven years of weekly publication,
San Diego Theatre Scene's weekly newsletter now
goes to more than 7,000 local theatre-goers.
Dale also maintains the organization's web site,
SanDiegoTheatreScene.com.
An actor for 30 years,
he is a member of the Screen Actors
Guild (SAG) and Actors’ Equity Association (AEA).

Paola Hornbuckle is
originally from Spain and Ecuador. She has a
B.A. in English with a concentration in
Theatre from George Mason University and an
M.A. in Secondary Education from Marymount
University. She is a playwright with several
local productions including "The Perfect
Red", "Teacher, Teacher", "This Ain't No
Friggin Love Story", and "Violets Bloom At
Sunset" featured in Resilience of the Spirit
Festival 09. "The Perfect Red" was published
by Smith and Kraus under Best Ten-Minute
Plays of 2008: Three Characters and is
available for purchase through Amazon.com.
She won a Scripteasers Award in 2007 for
"The Real Estate Agent". Her play "Chasing
Shakespeare" had a staged reading at Compass
in Feb 2009. Her directing credits
include "Brighton Beach Memoirs" at Cherry
Point Community Theatre in North Carolina,
"The Christmas Tree" at North Park
Vaudeville, and "Welcome to Ramallah" as
assistant director. Some of her acting
credits include Christine in "My Sister in
This House", the nun in "The Runner
Stumbles" and Mariana Pineda in "Mariana
Pineda".

George Bailey has a B.S. in Business
Administration. He worked for over twenty years in eye and
tissue donation promoting awareness and coordinating the
distribution of corneal tissue throughout the United States and
the world. A few years ago, he decided to devote all of his time
and efforts into performing - it is his passion. He has always
been extremely active in the theater, as an actor, singer and
director; having been in nearly sixty productions -
predominantly on the East Coast in summer stock and community
theater. |
Kelly Lapczynski

Kelly Lapczynski has been an actor for more than 20 years,
but has worked primarily on
and behind Tennessee stages, including a management position in
Nashville's oldest professional theatre, Chaffin's Barn. She
also performed on and off stage for the Mystery.
Comedy theatre
program at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and was an ensemble
member of the Parnassus Repertory Company.
Kelly received her degree in Communications from Middle
Tennessee State University and worked for 10 years as a radio
DJ, including several years on a top-rated morning show, before
committing solely to professional theater in 2001. Since that
time, she has continued to produce radio spots and sound cues
for countless professional theatre productions.
Her business background includes management positions in every
job she’s held since the age of 17, from helming the
programming, news, and public affairs departments of several
independent radio stations to the monitoring of a
seventeen-store regional division of corporate furniture stores.
Kelly joins Compass Theatre as Associate Managing Director and
coordinator of San Diego Theatre Scene's "Follow Spot" podcast.
